Specifically, those selected with a sugar content of 14% or higher are called 'Mero-Mero Melons' and are certified under the Miyazaki brand. By nurturing only one single fruit per vine, that painstaking effort produces such intense sweetness. Only those that pass inspection via light sensors for sugar content are delivered.
