Nagasu Goldfish and Nori
The nori grown in the tidal flats of the Ariake Sea is highly aromatic and crispy. With just one bite, the scent of the sea spreads throughout your mouth. Nagasu Town is known as a production area for colorful goldfish, and the town bustles annually with the 'Goldlam Goldfish Scooping Tournament.' At the same time, it utilizes its location facing the Ariake Sea to actively cultivate nori. The large tidal range of the Ariari Sea provides just the right amount of stimulation to the seaweed, producing nori that is rich in aroma and deep in umami.
