Gechuten

A gentle cup that feels as if it is softly accompanying you on a moonlit night. 'Gechuten' is a sake brewed by the long-established Nishino Kinryo, located in Kotohira Town, the gateway to Kompira-san. Its name is derived from an ancient Chinese idiom suggesting that heaven exists within a jar, evoking scenes of gathering with friends at night to enjoy a drink. This Junmai Ginjo, made using 'Sanuki Yoima' rice born in Kagawa, features a brilliant aroma reminiscent of Muscat grapes and a refreshing, mild acidity. Its clean finish pairs excellently with seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. It is a local Sanuki sake that makes you want to sip slowly while gazing at the moon. A bottle that quietly accompanies your quiet moments at night.
