Kamoizumi (Kamoizumi Sake Brewery)
This is a renowned sake from Kamoizumi Sake Brewery, a brewery in Saijo known as a pioneer of Junmai sake. Kamoizumi Sake Brewery was founded in 1912. In the post-war era, when sake relying on additives was mainstream, they are recognized as pioneers who led the way in reviving Junmai sake brewed solely with rice and rice koji. It is characterized by a rich, mellow flavor that utilizes the brewing water, along with a beautiful golden color. 'Shusenkan,' a sake cafe located in a Western-style building from the early Showa era attached to the brewery, is also a popular spot.
