Kawanishi Local Sake

Kawanishi City lies in the southeastern part of Hyogo Prefecture, bordering Osaka. In the Hokusetsu region along the clear streams of the Inagawa River, local sake nurtured by the rich nature of the satoyama landscape is beloved by the local people. The Inagawa River basin is an area blessed with water flowing from the Rokko and Hokusetsu mountains. The pure underground water is ideal for sake brewing, producing a soft and mellow flavor. The clear water and lush greenery firmly support the unique character of this land's sake. Hokusetsu is also known for mountain delicacies such as buckwheat noodles and botan-nabe (wild boar hot pot). This is a bottle that perfectly complements a simple and warm evening drink—slowly savoring local sake while gathered around a hot pot during the cold season.
