Tanba Wine
This is a Tanba wine born from the passion of a single individual who dreamed of wines that pair perfectly with Kyoto cuisine. Tanba Wine was founded in 1979 by Tetsuo Kuroi, who was then the president of a lighting equipment manufacturer. Deeply moved after experiencing wine culture abroad, Kuroi invested his personal fortune to begin brewing in the Kyotamba region. With the mission of creating 'wines that complement Kyoto's food culture,' the journey began by renting space in a sake brewery. His dedication to pursuing the perfect pairing with Japanese cuisine, while testing numerous varieties suited to the local climate, continues to this day. It is a glass that reflects the terroir of Tanba, designed to gently accompany the Japanese dining table.
