This is a masterful brew that brings out the unique character of the rice, boasting the pride of the Yamada Nishiki region. Honda Shoten, the brewery behind Ryuriki, was founded in Himeji in 1921. Operating under the motto 'Sake is the sake of rice,' they have been sincerely dedicated to crafting Daiginjo for a long time. They carefully select only the highest quality Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo Prefecture's Special A district as their raw material. Their representative work, 'Kome no Sasayaki' (Whisper of Rice), released in 1979, has continued to be loved by many for over 40 years. Their meticulous attention to rice—even discerning differences in the soil—creates a deep and rich flavor. It is a bottle where you can clearly perceive the umami of the rice, making it perfect to enjoy slowly alongside food.
