Muraoka Rice
Muraoka Rice is grown in the mountainous area of the Muraoka district in Kami Town. In this region, where approximately 90% of the land consists of terraced rice paddies, the landscape is so beautiful it has been selected as one of the '100 Best Terraced Rice Fields in Japan.' The Koshihikari is grown using a natural circulation-type cultivation method that utilizes Tajima beef compost to enrich the soil and leverages the temperature differences between day and night. This rice has repeatedly received high praise at national-scale taste competitions. Our commitment to meticulous rice farming supports its reliable quality. When cooked, it is fluffy and glossy. Its pride lies in a sweetness and aroma that expand with every bite, remaining delicious even after cooling.
