Takarazuka Curry
Takarazuka Curry is a new local gourmet experience to enjoy with the whole community. It originated in 2021 with the 'Takarazuka Curry Grand Prix,' a university competition held at Takarazuka Hankyu. It was a somewhat unique project where university students from the Hanshin area developed their own original retort curries and competed based on sales. From the free-spirited ideas of these students, many unique curries featuring elaborate spices and ingredients were born, and it has since become an annual summer tradition in the region. Dishes packed with the ideas of the younger generation offer extra joy when comparing different flavors. When you visit Takarazuka, please come and experience this ensemble of flavors rooted in the local community.
