Higashiosaka boasts Hanazono, the sacred ground of rugby. In this town of manufacturing, the local sake is a well-deserved drink for those who work hard. Higashiosaka City is known nationwide as a 'manufacturing town' where many small and medium-sized factories with high technical skills are gathered, and the FUSE drinking district is always bustling with people after work. While there are no breweries within the city itself, there are long-established liquor stores with underground cellars, and the local Osaka sakes passed down through Settsu and Kawachi are still carefully delivered today.
