Developed by a long-established shop with over 400 years of history, it was created in response to customers finding traditional mitarashi dango 'difficult to eat.' Using the innovative idea of sealing the sweet and savory sauce inside soft mochi, they even obtained a patent for this product. The flavor has been preserved for over 30 years since its launch in 1989 and has also been certified as 'Osaka Sakamono' (a product of Osaka). Take a bite with a toothpick, and as you chew the chewy mochi, the sauce flows out from within. It is a confection filled with typical Osaka ingenuity, making it perfect for both gifts and snacking while on the go.
