It is brewed using pure underground water with a moderate mineral content and local rice from the fertile lands where the Yura and Haji Rivers flow. The brewery once faced a crisis of suspension due to a well drying up, but it was the head of the family's daughter who revived the brewery as a Tanba Toji (master brewer). With the name 'Rokkan' embodying 'six joys found in drinking,' the brand features unique series themed around aroma, water, and rice.
