Shiki
"Shiki" is a mountain grape wine that Miyata Village, nestled between the Central and Southern Alps, is proud to produce. It is grown in this land blessed with grape cultivation, characterized by clear air, clean water, high rates of sunny days, and significant temperature fluctuations. Brewed within Miyata Village, it uses a variety called Yama Sauvignon, which is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and mountain grapes. It possesses a deep ruby color with a purplish luster, where the sharp acidity derived from mountain grapes overlaps with the fruitiness inherited from Cabernet. This is a bottle that pairs well with both Japanese cuisine and game meat. Please take your time to enjoy the flavor of every single grape grown at the foot of the Alps in your glass.
