Kamenoko Senbei (Baby Turtle Crackers)

It is said that regular customers affectionately named them 'Kamenoko Senbei' (Baby Turtle Crackers) due to their resemblance to a turtle shell. Thinly rolled wheat dough is baked until crisp and fragrant, then finished with a generous coating of elegantly sweet sesame paste. The greatest charm lies in the ability to enjoy two textures at once: the firm bite of the dough and the smooth mouthfeel of the sesame. Despite being an award-winning confection that has received the Grand Prize and the President's Award at the National Confectionery Expo, its flavor remains profoundly simple and warm.
