Muraoka Sohonpo Small Ogi Yokan
A single-serving yokan from a long-established shop that gave birth to the name 'Ogi Yokan'. Muraoka Sohonpo was founded in 1899 (Meiji 32). As the brewery that first devised the name 'Ogi Yokan', its products were once so highly valued they were used as preserved food by both the Army and Navy. This small-sized yokan is a bite-sized version of that very Ogi Yokan. You can enjoy four varieties: Honren (classic), Ogura (sweet bean), Matcha, and Hiki-cha (ground tea), all conveniently sized for a single serving. The Ogi Main Store also features a brick-built Yokan Museum registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property, where you can experience the history of confectionery making. Please enjoy this smooth, elegantly sweet yokan, which carries on traditions from the Meiji era, alongside a cup of tea.

An Ogi Yokan made by Sakuratsukido, founded in 1910, featuring hand-peeled yuzu from the Koishiwara Highlands in Fukuoka kneaded into the jelly.
