Sanuki Mitsu Milk Tsutsumi
This Japanese-Western confectionery, 'Sanuki Mitsu Milk Tsutsumi,' was developed with the participation of a French pastry chef at Kashi Kobo Louvre. Shaped like Mt. Yashima, a scenic spot in Takamatsu, it visually captures the essence of Kagawa. It features a milk-flavored white bean paste made with Sanuki Wasanbon sugar and rare sugar born in Kagawa, gently wrapped in a dough rich with kneaded butter. The meeting of Japanese bean paste and Western dough creates such a mellow flavor. With a single bite, the richness of the milk and a gentle sweetness spread softly through your palate. It is an indulgent specialty unique to Kagawa that combines the best of both Japanese and Western confectionery. It pairs perfectly with both tea and coffee.
