Dojousukui Manju
This is an adorable San'in specialty sweet featuring a Hyottoko mask wearing a polka-dot hand towel. It is inspired by the 'Dojousukui dance,' a famous performance of the Yasugi dialect, and just looking at its face naturally brings a smile to your face. Since its release by Nakauura Foods in 1967, it has been loved for over half a century in both Shimane and Tottori prefectures, making it truly the face of the San'in region. A gentle white bean paste is softly wrapped in fluffy dough. In addition to the standard white bean paste, there is a wide variety of flavors including matcha and chocolate, making you want to collect them all. It is a fun box to give, filled with humor and simple, rustic deliciousness.
