Motivated by the legend that Takemikazuchi-no-Mikoto arrived in Nara riding a white deer, Takuchi Seika created this deer-shaped monaka. Inside, it is filled with caramel-simmered almonds, freeze-dried persimmons from Yoshino, and a rich milk bean paste. It is a new sensation of flavor where Japanese monaka meets Western ingredients.
