Azusado Kobayashi - Pumpkin Pie
A baked good from Matsumoto, featuring sweet, fluffy pumpkin wrapped in a crispy pie crust. Azusado Kobayashi is a confectionery shop in Azumino/Matsumoto, founded in 1922. We are a long-established store that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022. The Pumpkin Pie is made by combining pureed domestic pumpkin with our homemade white bean paste, gently wrapped in pie dough, and slow-baked in an oven. You can fully enjoy the deliciousness of the ingredients themselves. Its charm lies in the warm flavor that only handmade goods can provide. With one bite, a comforting pumpkin sweetness spreads from beneath the crispy crust. It is a simple and warm baked treat from Shinshu.
