Kukuya Shun-sui Chestnut Kintsuba
An authentic kintsuba located in front of Zenkoji Temple that allows you to fully enjoy the texture of whole chestnut pieces. This is the chestnut kintsuba from Kukuya Shun-sui. Kukuya Shun-sui is a souvenir shop located on the Nakamise-dori street of Zenkoji Temple. As part of the 'Shun-sui' brand, which gathers ingredients from Shinshu, they offer sweets made with chestnuts and fruits. This chestnut kintsuba is baked using plenty of tender, fluffy chestnuts. You can clearly enjoy both the texture of the chestnut grains and a subtle, elegant sweetness. A popular wagashi (Japanese sweet) in front of the temple that you'll want to buy on your way back from visiting Zenkoji. When enjoyed with tea, the gentle sweetness of the chestnut spreads softly. It is a long-beloved item as a staple souvenir for Zenkoji.
