Izumiya Kashiten Cosmos Road

A sablé shaped like cosmos flowers, created by the long-established Izumiya Kashiten in Saku. It features a light, crispy texture with a gentle aroma of butter spreading through your mouth. National Route 254, which leads from Saku City to Uchiyama Pass, is affectionately known as the 'Cosmos Road' because cosmos flowers bloom in profusion during autumn. We have captured that beautiful scenery in the shape of this sweet. Founded in 1920 (Taisho 9), Izumiya Kashiten is a venerable shop that has continued the tradition of making confections using the bounties of Saku. With its adorable petal shapes, this is a treat that is as delightful to the eyes as it is to the palate. It is a sablé you can enjoy slowly while reflecting on the autumn landscapes of Saku.
