Crispy & Fluffy Walnut Meringue
This is a crispy and fluffy meringue confection studded with Shinshu-grown walnuts. The light mouthfeel is accented by the savory aroma of walnuts, creating an exquisite balance. Nagano Prefecture boasts the highest walnut production in Japan, and Tomi City, in particular, is a famous production area known as 'Japan's Number One Walnut Village.' The climate, blessed with little rain and plenty of sunlight, nurties highly aromatic walnuts. We have generously prepared this light sweet using the blessings of that land. With one bite, it melts delicately, making it impossible to stop eating. It is a light and gentle snack, characteristic of Shinshu, perfect for a quick treat during tea time.
