Little Pretz Nozawana

The familiar Pretz has transformed into a Shinshu-exclusive Nozawana (pickled mustard leaf) flavor. 'Little Pretz Nozawana' is a convenient local snack made by Glico, featuring Pretz in a smaller size that is easy to distribute. Nozawana is a representative pickle of Shinshu. It is said to have originated at Kenmei-ji Temple in Nozawa Onsen Village, when a chief priest brought turnip seeds from Kyoto in 1756, which then uniquely adapted to the local climate. This flavor has been captured within the light, crispy Pretz. Packed with the taste of Shinshu in a small bag, it is a handy snack perfect for sharing as a souvenir. It can be easily enjoyed as an accompaniment to tea or as a snack with drinks.
