Shinshu Sato no Ka Kobo Chestnut Anpan
The 'Chestnut Anpan' is made by the chestnut confectionery specialist 'Shinshu Sato no Ka Kobo,' featuring chestnut paste wrapped in fluffy bread dough. Our shop is located in Ina, Southern Shinshu, a place rich in nature, surrounded by two mountain ranges with the Tenryu River flowing through its center. Together with local farmers, we cultivate the branded 'Shinshu Ina Chestnut.' We have gently wrapped authentic chestnut kinton (sweetened chestnut paste) unique to our specialty shop and slightly salted chunky bean paste in a chewy dough. The subtle aroma of butter and the gentle sweetness of chestnut become one. It is a somewhat special anpan unique to Southern Shinshu, a chestnut region, where Japanese and Western flavors melt together happily. Perfect for a snack or a light meal.
