Shunsai-ka Tamura Soba Oboro
Soba Oboro from Suzaka's Shunsai-ka Tamura incorporates Shinshu buckwheat into a Japanese confection. It is a unique item inspired by traditional Spanish sweets. The third-generation owner took inspiration from traditional Spanish confectionery and completed this sweet after two years of trial and error. Using Togakushi-grown buckwheat flour and Nagano-grown wheat flour, it is finished with the gentle sweetness of Wasanbon (fine Japanese sugar). It is characterized by a delicate, melting texture. This is a one-of-a-kind confection that utilizes ingredients unique to Shinshu, a famous buckwheat-producing region. The savory aroma of the buckwheat and the elegant sweetness of the Wasanbon melt gently in your mouth. It is a flavorful item that will be appreciated as a souvenir from Shinshu.
