It was named with the wish that "happiness (Happy) will return (Turn) to our customers" during a time when all of Japan was feeling down due to the first oil shock. The small indentations on the surface, known as "powder pockets," hold the powder securely, which, combined with an extra coating of oil, creates that addictive flavor. Now, this nationwide masterpiece appears in a Tokyo-exclusive form. With a light, crispy texture and a sweetness and saltiness that gradually spreads across your tongue, it is a sinfully delicious snack that makes you want to lick your fingers.
