Akasaka Aono Dorayaki

A fluffy baked skin filled generously with our pride-worthy bean paste. The flavor of the beans and an elegant sweetness melt together in this dorayaki. Produced by Aono, a long-established shop in Akasakan. Since its founding in Meiji 32 (1899), this Japanese confectionery shop has dedicated itself solely to the art of red bean paste. Starting as a candy store selling items like hard candies, it eventually expanded to produce daifuku and yokan, and is now also known for the "Akasaka Mochi" devised by the third-generation owner. The long-refined techniques of bean paste making support the deliciousness of this dorayaki. An exquisite balance of moist skin and plenty of filling. The comforting, simple sweetness will surely bring a smile to your face. Please enjoy the taste of an Akasaka classic with your tea.
