Akasaka Aono Hitotsubu
A Japanese confectionery where each grain of Dainagon (sweet bean) is carefully prepared—offering an irresistible combination of plump bean texture and elegant sweetness. Produced by Aono, a long-established shop in Akas. Since its founding in Meiji 32 (1899), this confectionery has maintained a dedicated focus on the craft of making anko (sweet bean paste). It began as a candy shop selling items like hard candies and eventually grew into a mochi specialty shop producing daifuku and yokan. Known for the "Akasaka Mochi" devised by the third-generation owner, this single piece embodies the long-refined techniques of bean paste making. Each bite offers a nutritious flavor that makes you feel the meticulous craftsmanship. It is something you will want to savor slowly during your tea time.
