Kidaya Hatsuyado (Ogura)

When you split the plumply baked dorayaki skin, a generous amount of bean paste is revealed. The moist dough and elegantly sweet bean paste overlap to create a flavor that truly puts your heart at ease. 'Kidaya' is a Japanese confectionery shop born in Senju, Tokyo, in 1955. They began their business with dorayaki and monaka during the difficult period ten years after the end of the war. It is said that they completed the current plump dorayaki through repeated trials and much time. With love for their local area, Senju, many sweets bearing its name have also been created. The dorayaki, loved since the company's founding, is a warm taste of the town that is cherished across generations.
