Ikebukuro Mihando Salt Senbei
When you bite into the crisp-baked rice cracker, the texture of the rice grains and the fragrant aroma of soy sauce spread throughout your mouth. The simple, salty flavor leaves a lasting impression. 'Ikebukuro Mihando' is a long-established shop founded in Ikebukuro in 1937. The first generation established this shop after training at the main Mihando branch in Nihonbashi. It is said that the famous literary figure Edogawa Ranpo was a fan of this shop throughout the pre-war and post-war eras, praising its specialty in his works. These salt senbei are toasted to perfection with carefully selected salt and soy sauce, preserving the texture of domestic non-glutinous rice. A delicious, non-tiring snack that you can't stop eating.
