Ueno Usagiya Dorayaki
When you open the fluffy baked skin, it is packed with glossy smooth red bean paste. The skin is moist and the paste is fresh, conveying the deliciousness of being freshly made. Usagiya was founded in 1913. The adorable shop name comes from the fact that the founder was born in the Year of the Rabbit. It is a famous shop counted as one of the 'Three Great Dorayaki of Tokyo,' alongside Asakusa's Kameju and Higashi-Jujo's Sogyetsu. Its large size, which almost overflows from the palm, is said to have been born from the second generation's desire to create 'a confection that satisfies with just one piece.'
