Hashimoto Oshosho-yaki
An Imagawayaki-style sweet shaped like Shogi pieces, baked in Tendo City, the city of Shogi. Tendo is known for its Shogi piece production since the end of the Edo period, accounting for over 90% of the national share. Walking through the town, you can see Shogi designs everywhere; it is truly a 'City of Shogi.' Hashimoto's 'Oshosho-yaki' is molded after these iconic pieces and is generously filled with warm, sweet bean paste.
