Iwami Salt Caramel
This caramel was born in Iwami Town, infused with the savory umami of salt from the Sea of Japan. Iwami Town is located at the eastern edge of Tottori Prefecture, boasting the beautiful coastline of the San'in Kaigan UNESCO Global Geopark. Amidst a landscape surrounded by the rough waves of the Sea of Japan and lush green mountains, a confection using sea salt was created. The addition of a subtle saltiness to the meltingly sweet caramel enhances the sweetness even further, creating a lingering deliciousness.
