The gentle flavor of egg overlaps with the bitterness of cacao, presenting a more mature character than the usual Castella. Bunmeido Sohonten is a long-established shop founded in Nagasaki in 1900. While utilizing long-inherited Castella-making techniques, they continue to challenge themselves with new flavors. This chocolate flavor was born from that very tradition.
