Nagaharu Senbei

Nagaharu Senbei is an egg-rich rice cracker that has been long loved by the people of Miki City. Its name originates from Bessho Nagaharu, a military commander who ruled this land during the Warring States period. It is said that during the siege of Miki Castle by Hashiba Hideyoshi under the orders of Oda Nobunaga, Nagaharu saved the people within the castle at the cost of his own life, and his character is still deeply revered today. This senbei uses ingredients such as egg, flour, and sugar, and we continue to uphold the traditional method of hand-baking each piece individually rather than mass-producing them. Please enjoy this fragrant, gently sweet, thin cracker slowly while reflecting on the history of Miki.
