Carbonated Senbei Sticks (Strawberry)
This is a strawberry-flavored version of Arima Onsen's famous Carbonated Senbei (rice crackers), rearranged into an easy-to-eat stick shape. It was born from a traditional confection passed down in Arima Onsen, which is considered one of the oldest hot spring resorts in Japan. The history of Carbonated Senbei dates back to the Meiji era, when carbonated spring water from Arima Onsen was used in the cracker-making process. Kneading the dough with carbonated water results in a uniquely crisp and light texture. We have added the sweet and sour notes of strawberry to this classic. This is a new sensation in hot spring souvenirs, where a brilliant strawberry aroma spreads through a crispy, light mouthfeel.
