Konigs Krone Kelpes (Stick Pie)

A stick-shaped pie called 'Kelpes,' handmade one by one by artisans to preserve the flavor since the company's founding. It is the signature baked good of Konigs Krone, a confectionery shop born in Mikage, Kobe. Konigs Krone means 'Crown' in German. Since its founding in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, in 1977, it has been long loved alongside its mascot 'Kuma-pochi,' a bear wearing a crown. The commitment for this stick pie is the generous use of original, high-quality premium unsalted butter. With its crispy, light texture and rich buttery aroma, it is a long-selling Kobe souvenir that has continued since the time of the shop's founding.
