A salt yokan inspired by the story of the Ako Gishi, Chushingura. We have added Akō's famous salt to the flavor of high-quality adzuki beans, subtly tucking a hint of saltiness into the sweetness. Produced by 'Sohonke Kan-gawa,' which has a 300-year history in Akō. Akō has long been celebrated as Japan's premier salt-producing region, and that salt provides a sharp finish that enhances the sweetness of the yokan.
