Escoyama Madoka
A creation born from the childhood memories of the world's greatest chocolatier. Chef Susumu Koyama has repeatedly won the highest honors at the C.C.C., a chocolate competition in France. This baked confection, representing 'Es Koyama' opened in Sanda in 2003, was inspired by the memory of eating chocolate biscuits wrapped in silver foil during his childhood. A fragrant sablé coated in smooth chocolate. True to its name 'Madoka' (meaning circle/harmony), which symbolizes the sun and human connections, it offers a round sense of happiness. As the texture crumbles and melts in your mouth, the aroma of cacao gently spreads. Simple, nostalgic, yet high-quality—a masterpiece you will want to eat again and again.
