Maruhachi Large Peanuts (Oomasari)
Maruhachi, located in Midori Ward, Chiba City, prepares 'Oomasari'—one of Japan's largest peanut varieties developed through breeding in 2007—as salt-boiled peanuts. The grains are approximately twice the size of standard varieties and are fluffy and sweet; this exquisite product sells out immediately during its limited autumn sales.
