Kameya Honten Ise Ebi (Spiny Lobster) Senbei

A thin, crispy rice cracker that captures the flavor of Ise Ebi (spiny lobster) caught in the seas of Boso. This is a flagship member of the popular seafood series produced by Kameya Honten in Kamogawa. Founded in 1906, Kameya Honten is a long-established Boso shop known for its Sea Bream (Tai) Senbei. They knead Ise Ebi into the dough and season it with local Chiba soy sauce before baking it to a fragrant perfection. When you snap it, the rich aroma of shrimp rises beautifully; despite being thin, it is quite satisfying to eat. It is a luxurious cracker that evokes the sea breeze of Onjuku and Kamogawa. It is an excellent Boso souvenir that we recommend with confidence, especially when enjoyed alongside their Octopus (Tako) Senbei or Sea Bream (Tai) Senbei for a tasting experience.
