Hanako-ko
A girl with round cheeks standing in a field of rapeseed—Bofudo's "Hanako-ko" is a baked confection that delivers the spring of Minamiboso all year round. It was born in 1975. It is said to have started from a request from a botanical garden in Kamogawa. Yellow white bean paste, inspired by rapeseed fields, is wrapped in a fluffy dough fragrant with butter. The name "Hanana," another name for rapeseed, became the adorable product name. It seems as if the bright colors of the rapeseed blooming in the warm Kuroshio region have been turned directly into a sweet.
